TJD Leaders Convo

A new (or continuing) leader often faces an overwhelming morass of expectations as s/he begins a new year in the congregation. Join your TJ District staff, District Executive, Annette Marquis, Director of Faith Development, Sue Sinnamon, and District Administrator, Glenn Johnson, for a day designed to help congregational presidents (and presidents-elect), DREs and other RE leaders, and church administrators get off to a great start as the new operational year begins. Note: ministers are also welcome to attend.

Whether your congregation operates as a year-round church or you are just getting going after the summer, this convo will introduce you to resources available to help you in your role, connect you with other leaders in the district, and provide an opportunity to get to know the District Staff.

The goals for the day are to:
  • Learn about TJ District and UUA resources designed to help you have a winning year
  • Network with other congregational leaders from around the district
  • Learn when to ask for outside help and what help is available
  • Discuss and develop a plan for the flow of the year
  • Identify training and other needs to help you do your work more effectively
