TJD offers a series of webinar sessions throughout the Spring 2010 that are designed to inform and inspire you. All webinars are planned for Wednesdays, some will run from noon - 1:00 pm, and others will run from 7 - 8:30 p.m.
We will offer four tracks of webinars, selected to respond to general interest among our leadership: Presenters of the sessions are well-known and respected authorities in the Thomas Jefferson District:
A - Right Relationships/Conflict Management, led by Helen Bishop Dr. Helen Bishop is a consultant for faith-based organizations, particularly in the areas of conflict management, right relations and diversity. She served as District Executive for the Unitarian Universalist Association for eight years, is a credentialed religious educator, master level, and has a doctorate in organizational leadership. Dr. Bishop currently resides in Hendersonville, NC with her partner of many years, Susan Grider.
B - Governance and Leadership Development, led by Annette Marquis Annette Marquis is Thomas Jefferson District Executive, and was recently appointed Regional Lead District Staff Person of the Southland Region (consisting of Florida, Mid-South, Southwest Conference and TJ Districts).
C - Faith Development, led by Sue Sinnamon Rev. Sue Sinnamon is the TJD Director of Faith Development.
D - What Works? Best Practices in Congregations, led by Jake Morrill Rev. Jake B. Morrill is minister of Oak Ridge UU Church, Oak Ridge, TN, and currently serves as TJD Trustee on the UUA Board. Each track will feature four or five monthly sessions. You may participate in any or all of them, as you choose and your schedule permits. Tuition for each session is only $5.00.
