Universalist Convention of North Carolina (UCONCI)
The Universalist
Convention of North Carolina (UCONCI) will gather for its annual
Convention on October 16th, 2010 at beautiful Shelter Neck UU Camp near Burgaw, NC.
Food and lodging is included and there are no registration fees. Delegates
will vote on a new constitution and Bylaws. Copies are available on the
Shelter Neck website and are being mailed to member congregations.

Keynote
speaker is Marion Hirsch, RE Director of the Community
Church of Chapel
Hill
Registration begins at 8:30 am
Saturday, Oct. 16 (or come Friday evening and we'll eat out).
Workshops
include a presentation on the UUA's "MIND THE GAP" Study on
retaining our youth.
There
will be time for discussion and collaboration on ideas to bring back
to our congregations.
Members
who are not delegates are encouraged to attend the meeting and weekend
events as well.
There will be music, food, bonfire,
and good fellowship for those who attend.
We will worship in the historic
Chapel on Sunday morning.
